Although a technical success, the nonprofit Revelation-Tree, Inc., was dissolved in 2023 for a variety of reasons. The nonprofit had been formed in 2014 to seek funding for Seminary Scholars to investigate specific topics related to Biblical literary structures. Federal tax-exempt status was granted around 2017. Where appropriate, revenue generated from some related sales, as had been specifically indicated, will continue to be given to charitable organizations. This nonprofit was served by a number of faithful people, who worked without seeking any compensation for themselves over a period of ten years.

The nonprofit had desired to seek large foundation funding on behalf of Biblical Scholars to form a “Visual Structural Research Institute (VSRI).”  In effect, VSRI was conceived as a multi-denominational Bible translation committee which would focus on the literary structure of Isaiah, rather than translation of the specific words.  Funding requirements were estimated to be on the order of $20 Million over 10 years.    A primary goal was to introduce a standardized and tested notation into the Scriptures, specifically Isaiah, to indicate the original structure.  (Note that the chapter breaks in Isaiah introduced in the Middle Ages are misleading.)   A program plan was developed to achieve this in ten years, an amazing goal.  Accomplishing it would have enabled a more comprehensive reading of the Bible by 2 billion people, and Lord willing, many more.  We still hope and pray that this goal will be achieved by other means or organizations.
