Isaiah 43:8 - 44:11 is a chiastic unit, bounded on one side by a “far” block of three verses. This chiastic unit is a portion of the major unit running from Isaiah 41:8 to Isaiah 44:22, and this major unit is portion of a section. What is commonly called “sections” is more or less an arbitrary division introduced for convenience; it is not clear Isaiah thought in terms of sections.
